Closing performance at Russia Day – June 26, 2010
On June 26th the Russian-speaking community celebrated its 2nd Annual Russia Day at the Serbian Cultural Community Centre of Vancouver. With performances starting in the morning, there was a non-stop program that continued into late evening. The celebration featured local performers, traditional foods, art gallery exhibitions, children’s programs and a variety of vendors.
Roma Gry’s closing performance was highly anticipated and drew a large number of spectators and heartwarming applause. The performance also set the tone for an energetic disco program which followed, taking Russia Day celebration into the late evening.
